In July 2020, Philip showcased COUPLA - a prototype device that attaches a mic rig temporarily and swiftly onto a recording bag. The positive reaction on Twitter made Philip decide to begin production of a batch of COUPLAs to market to the community.
In 2013, Philip co-founded noisecreations to create unique and practical sound effects collections - experimenting with sound and to showcase ideas.
Philip is looking for students and committed individuals who want to develop their knowledge and abilities in sound editing, mixing and field recording for film, television and the online world. Primarily over the course of three initial tutoring sessions via Zoom, Philip aims to advance the fundamental creative, technical and social skills required in pursuing the highest quality soundtracks.
It is advised that applicants have an existing basic knowledge of AVID Pro Tools. Tutoring sessions can consist of pre-prepared topics, whilst allowing for less-structured time to discuss burning questions, further detail on paticular topics and career development advice.
